i Love Transforming Smiles
As a doctor at Orthodontic Associates, serving smiles means channeling passion and expertise into every treatment, ensuring each patient walks away with newfound confidence and joy.
Dr. Kevan O'Neill
Dr. Kevan is a Lima native and Lima Central Catholic high school graduate. He is thrilled to be back in Northwest Ohio serving the community in which he was raised.
A board-certified orthodontist, Dr. Kevan specializes in treatment of children with cleft and craniofacial conditions. When not treating patients at Orthodontic Associates, you can find him at Dayton Children’s Hospital or Shriners Ohio where he sees families most in need. He became interested in craniofacial anomalies as an orthodontic resident at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, and went on to complete a fellowship in craniofacial and special care orthodontics at New York University. Dr. Kevan earned his dental degree from Columbia University in New York, where he was a member of the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society and received the Pierre Fauchard Academy Dental Student Scholarship Achievement award. He completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society.
In 2026, Dr. Kevan was elected as Trustee at Large for the American Association of Orthodontists. “We’re so pleased to welcome Dr. O’Neill to his role on the AAO Board of Trustees,” said AAO President Dr. Steven Siegel. “We had many qualified candidates, and this was not an easy decision. Dr. O’Neill’s experience and leadership roles, plus his deep commitment to the AAO, the specialty, and our patients, will enable him to bring valuable insights to our Board. We’re excited to welcome his perspective and energy to the AAO Board.”
“I’m enthusiastic about helping to shape the future of our profession,” says Dr. O’Neill. “I hope to bring insight and perspective from a young clinician who has experienced the specialty through many different lenses, from major hospitals, to small town private practice, and everything in between. The AAO serves members who work in all kinds of settings, and I feel proud to represent them in this role.”
Dr. Brendan and Dr. Kevan are excited to be practicing together again and honored to succeed their mentor and friend, Dr. Tom Ahman. Dr. Ahman treated the identical twins in the mid-1990s and was a constant source of support and guidance to them throughout their education.
